2000, 2001 U.S. Indoor 400 meter champ.

In addition to his track career, Davis also played football while at the University of Colorado in 1995, playing in 10 of 12 games that season as a receiver with the Buffaloes. Placed 2nd in the 400 meters at the 1996 Big Eight Indoor Championships, and earned All-American status after placing 8th at the NCAA Indoor Championships later that season … was named 1996 Big Eight Conference Outdoor Championships MVP after winning the 200m and 400m titles. A first-team academic all-Big Eight selection, Davis served as the track team’s representative on Colorado’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee. His 45.54 in winning the 2000 U.S. Indoor 400m title was the fastest time in the world that year. He is employed at Intrado in Boulder, Colo., as a Data Integrity Analyst. He is a two-time US Indoor 400m Champ; placed 12th at the 2004 Olympics Trials; and was the 2004 KU Relays Champion in the 400 meters.

2004: 12th at 2004 Olympic Trials, 2004 KU Relays Champion, 400 meters. 2003: 5th in opening round at USA Outdoors (46.48)…1st in opening round at Mt. SAC (45.33)… 4th at USA Indoors (46.68) … ran 45.99 indoors in Lievin.
2002: 7th in semifinals at USA Outdoors (46.68)…ranked #7 in U.S. by T&FN…best of 45.25

2001: USA Indoor 400m champ (46.16)…did not finish final at World Indoors due to a hamstring injury…1st at Tyson Invitational in (46.11)…1st at adidas Golden Spike Invitational (46.49)…was hampered at USA Outdoors (where he finished 6th in the first round in 46.66) due to a hamstring injury that he sustained at the World Indoor Championships)…best of 46.11i.

2000: 2000 U.S. Indoor 400m champ (45.54)…6th in semifinal at Olympic Trials (45.40)...best of 45.26PR.

1999: 2nd at Big 12 Outdoor Champs...5th in 1st round at NCAAs and USA Outdoors…5th at Big 12 Outdoor 200m…bests of 45.61 and 21.10.

1998: 3rd at Big 12 Outdoor Champs…5th in 1st round at NCAAs…best of 45.69.

1997: Best of 46.53.

996: Big 12 Outdoor 200m & 400m champ…5th in 1st round at NCAAs…6th in 1st round at Olympic Trials…bests of 20.73 and 45.64.
