2001 USA Outdoor & Indoor LJ champion; 2001 U.S. 100m hurdles runner-up; 2000 NCAA outdoor LJ champion; 5th at 2001 World Championships in 100mH; 6th at 2003 World Outdoors; 11-time NCAA All-American.

Adams fell short to claim a spot on the Olympic Team in Athens after her fifth-place finish in the 100m hurdles at the 2004 Olympic Trials, but she has returned to her hometown to Houston to train under Mike Takaha & Kyle Tellez…she hopes to make her third straight world outdoor team. Adams proved in 2003 that she is one of the world’s finest 100m hurdlers with her sixth place finish at the World Outdoor Championships in Paris…after taking the 2002 season off from long jumping, Adams returned to that event in 2003 and managed a third place finish at the USA Outdoor Championships at Stanford with a seasonal best of 6.45 meters/21-2. She was the hottest hurdler on the European circuit in 2001, winning five IAAF Grand Prix meets …was consistent in 2002.

2001: USA Outdoor LJ champ (6.71m/22-0.25w)…2nd in 100mH at USA Outdoors (13.11w)…5th in 100mH at World Outdoor Champs in personal best of 12.63…silver medalist at Goodwill Games 100mH (12.87) and 2nd in 4x100m relay (lead leg, 42.98)…won adidas Oregon Track Classic (12.78w)…tore up the European circuit with hurdles wins in Zagreb, Lausanne, Paris, Nice and Stockholm …won NCAA indoor long jump on (6.68m/21-11iPR)…no-mark in final of long jump at World Outdoor Champs…ranked #3 in 100mH in world & U.S. & #2 in LJ in U.S. by T&FN…bests of 12.63 and 6.68m/21-11i.
