With Al Bohl having been fired, the athletic director position at Kansas is wide open and in need of someone with integrity. The KU search committee isn't naming names — of those who have contacted KU or those who KU will contact — but here's a look at who we think are the most likely candidates for the position and their odds at getting the job.

Two of the biggest questions during this search are whether KU will pony up the money for a big-name, successful and experienced athletic director, and what role, if any, will KU coaches Mark Mangino and Bill Self play in the selection process?

KU Chancellor Robert Hemenway has said this search should be completed by July 1, so check back often during June as we'll be updating these odds as the rumor mills continue to turn. Odds current as of 12:29 p.m. Wednesday, June 4.
