After redshirting his freshman year, Ronnie, twin brother of Donnie Amadi, took a spot as backup at the cornerback behind Remuise Johnson. The twins spent six years of their life in Nigeria. As a high schooler at Hastings High in Alief Tex., Ronnie recorded 140 tackles through his junior and senior seasons. Jayhawk coaches credit his rise up the depth chart to displays of in speed and coverage skills during practice.
