Johnny Beck's 39-yard field goal gave Kansas an 8-7 lead in the third quarter, but NU immediately set sail on the game-
winning touchdown drive. The Huskers didn't gain a first down in the fourth quarter. Kansas gained just one. KU was just 3-for-19 on third-down conversions. NU wasn't much better at 3-for-12.
