Gary Bedore's thoughts: Somewhat underrated for reasons unbeknownst to me, Miles is a true point guard and a great leader on the floor. He passes first, shoots second.
Again, two Final Fours in two years. Not a bad track record. Miles is not a bad shooter, though his 24 of 98 three-point numbers last season, do not show that. He probably just needs to shoot it with more confidence. An excellent ballhandler, he is on track to crush KU's all-time assists record, which says a lot for the Portland product. You've all seen Miles play. You know how good he is. He's a keeper. If he improves his shooting percentage Ñ it's 40.6 for his career Ñ he'll be an All-America candidate someday soon. For the record, I think he will improve his shooting percentage as Adonis Jordan did steadily at Kansas. MILES AT A GLANCE Favorite food: Peanut Butter Capn. Crunch. Favorite TV show: Martin.
