Gary Bedore's thoughts: The son of a college coach — Oklahoma City University's Win Case — Jeremy is known as a great outside shooter. I've seen his range in pick-up games. He can flick in the long-range jumper, that is for sure. I can see why Roy Williams ignored the recruiting analysts who said Case didn't really deserve to be recruited by a national power like KU. Again, he can hit the three and appears to be able to move well with the basketball and probably can play the point in a pinch as well as shooting guard.

He was lightly recruited, but ultimately might be a steal.

Case¹s father, Win, is the long-time head coach at Oklahoma City University, and he was a teammate of current KU coach Bill Self at Oklahoma State in the 1980s... Case¹s mother, Rita Kemp, also played basketball in college at Seminole (Okla.) Junior College... Chose KU over Oklahoma and Nebraska... Played AAU ball in the summer with current KU teammate J.R.
