Why has only one player from this year or last years team been nominated? Bill Mayer selected Aaron Miles?! I like Miles and I think he is a better scoring point guard than Jacque Vaughn but come on. What about Drew Gooden, or even Jeff Boschee? Boschee ended as the top three point shooter in Big 12 history. How about this years super duo of Nick Collison and Kirk Hinrich? After what Collison did last night to ISU he definitely deserves some mentions. I know a lot of my generation, (c. 94) are going to pick the standards of Manning, Vaughn, Pritchard, Pollard, Lafrentz, Pierce and so on. That doesn't mean that we don't know the history of what those in the past accomplished. Those great players mentioned earlier than the 70's did not receive the benefit of playing varsity for a full four years, so therefore their accomplishments are not as great in sheer numbers as those later. Ron Kellogg and Bud Stallworth are examples of small numbers due to the lack of the 3 point line.
Here would be my all time team with a roster of 20.
